Originally Yours

(Written for What do you see # 226- February 19, 2024)

We follow our own paths,
With immaculate hearts and higher spirits,
Trying touch the sky with holy deeds,
Spotless in footprints and toiling in actions,
Oceanic in patience, unmatched in loyalty,
Closed to God, always for humanity,
We the mountain, from the mountain…

Struggle for life.. always…

but certainly… not
for self-respect and recognition,

even for a minute…

Does this picture inspire you to write something?

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a deep blue sky and mountains in the distance. The ground is covered by snow and a single track of footprints is seen headed towards the mountains.

Waiting for your responses.

  1. This poem beautifully encapsulates the selfless journey of striving for greater good and spiritual fulfillment. It’s like a reminder of the importance of humility and service to others, even in the face of life’s struggles. The imagery is vivid, and the message about the nobility of selflessness shines through. Well done!
