( Written for W3 Prompt #102: Wea’ve Written Weekly and
What do you see # 233- April 8, 2024 )
Tried finding who I was & what was my purpose,
Groped for that brass key to success and happiness,
Which was never to be found, and surprisingly,
Some dreams that came true never made content while
some failures inspired more,
Some successes made eyes wet while some fiascos honed what was not in me,
Some faith made me climbing the mountain easier while…
Some doubts made the simplest path feel like the mountains,
Now when I know who I am and what is my purpose I realized,
It is much important to be WHAT I AM and keep SELFLESS as the purpose in anything I do even purposelessly…..

Good evening and see you next time….

- You can write a post on your blog and create a pingback to link to the original post.
- Write an original story, poem or a caption.
- There is no limit to words or format but keep it family-friendly.
- If you post a response before next Sunday, I will be able to add it to my roundup post.
- I will do a round-up next Sunday before the next Prompt is posted.
- It is always helpful if you can give your post/story/poem a title.
- There are issues with pingbacks in WordPress these days. So please paste a link of your post in the comments section so that I don’t miss anyone in the roundup post. Please tag your responses with- #Whatdoyousee Or #WDYS
For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a brass key fallen among the leaves in a jungle. You can see a pine cone and needles around it too.

You’re most welcome, JM.
So much insight is shared here, JM! I love the line about success not always bringing the happiness we expected. I have experienced this quite often in the last few years! Some of the happiest moments are found in nature’s surprises and small kindnesses given and received in everyday life! ❤️🩵💙🩷
So true words from you and so kind too. My sincere thanks always, Cheryl. 👏👍🌹
