Maturely Yours

( Written for What do you see # 212- 13 November, 2023 )

Carrying a personality more than she owns,

Handling a burden more than she can,

Hiding obvious things more than we know,

Walking on the path she must be playing on.

But,

Learning the hardest way, we did not learn,

Growing the fastest way, we did not grow,

Understanding the toughest way, we didn’t do,

Playing a different game than you and me did,

It is the game of life on a different ground…

And with much stringent rules for her…

Carry on Z … you can only win this….

( Z is for all daughters, yours, mine, theirs, at present and even those who have yet to come to this world)

What do you see # 212- 13 November, 2023

Good afternoon and till later….

  1. Sadje – I am writing to express my opinion, share my experiences and to maybe provide some insight. My blog is addressing women at 50 ( but men are welcome to read my posts) ,their issues and the questions that come up at this stage in life. I don’t aim to teach, but to learn together.

  2. Cheryl, Gulf Coast Poet – A retired teacher and mother of three adult children, I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida with my soulmate, Robert. Leisure activities include discussing current events with Robert, watching movies, and playing Scrbble. Robert usually wins! I also enjoy going to the beach and taking road trips with my daughters. One of our favorite pastimes is observing the wonderful wildlife that surrounds us. I keep busy writing poetry, and I would be delighted if you visited my website!

Indira – Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India – I knew all along that life is about, love, compassion, compatibility and friendship, but now I have discovered that life is also about sharing the thoughts, encouraging others and getting encouraged. So here I am with my blogs about life, friendship, love, and whatever life has taught me.
