Thankfully Yours

( Written for What do you see # 211- November 6, 2023 )

I tossed it up

looking up there

closing my eyes for His nod

as I always do…

Waiting for His messages to me

for,  to be.. or not to be….

It came, yes it did …

as if my heart would come out of joy,

It was a seven and a three…

I looked at her and she at me

with a twinkle in our eyes

with assurance and a relief

I took her hand on my heart

She felt the beats and said

this is the sign you’ve been waiting for

no words from me, just…

some vapor on the corner of my eyes

deep faith for Him up there…..

and a silent Amen on the lips….

What do you see # 211- November 6, 2023

Good evening and till next time…

  1. Sadje – I am writing to express my opinion, share my experiences and to maybe provide some insight. My blog is addressing women at 50 ( but men are welcome to read my posts) ,their issues and the questions that come up at this stage in life. I don’t aim to teach, but to learn together.

  4. ShankySalty – Ramgarh, Jharkhand – I am Ashish Kumar. I am known as Shanky. I was born and brought up in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. I have studied Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have written 10 books. I have come to know so much of my life that life makes me cry as much as death. Have you heard that this world laughs when no one has anything, if someone has everything, this world is longing for what I have, this world. Whatever I am, I belonged to my beloved Mahadev. What should I say about myself? Gradually you will know everything.

Captivating piece! Your words weave a tale of anticipation, faith, and the profound connection between heartbeats and divine signs. Beautifully written, as always.
