Willfully Yours

( Written for Reena’s Xploration Challenge #305 )

Soul searches for solitude

above the world’s clamor,

And when the silence falls

Starts its reverberations,

that it reaches unfurled,

erases all separateness

that it doesn’t

Fall prey to the same cycle,

Come, go…go and come again…

  1. Adelheid – I love simple things, simple pleasures in life. Reading nourishes my brain. Writing releases toxins in my mind. I write about random thoughts and feelings, and the life I live in. Life is a gift. Happiness is a choice. Expect the unexpected but seize the moment. And learn to be appreciative because there is always, always something to be grateful for.
    Adelheid says:

This is something that made me think of: “erases all separateness”

  2. Eugi – Atlanta Ga – A gander at me – I enjoyed a dedicated career in the insurance industry for over 20 years being rewarded both professionally and personally. Now it’s time for me to follow my dreams by doing things I enjoy…family, travel, and writing, and promoting others. Welcome to my blog, Moonwashed Musings.

History repeats itself, sometimes unfortunately. Well done.

  3. ShankySalty – Ramgarh, Jharkhand – I am Ashish Kumar. I am known as Shanky. I was born and brought up in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. I have studied Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have written 10 books. I have come to know so much of my life that life makes me cry as much as death. Have you heard that this world laughs when no one has anything, if someone has everything, this world is longing for what I have, this world. Whatever I am, I belonged to my beloved Mahadev. What should I say about myself? Gradually you will know everything.

Engaging in introspective verses, your poetic exploration beautifully resonates with the quest for solitude amid life’s cacophony. Enjoy your evening, looking forward to more.

    1. My sincere thanks for appreciating quietness, which can only be done by a poet like yourself. And good evening to you as well.
